Interactive Video Network

Advanced Search

In 1992, the University System of Maryland initiated a system-wide Interactive Video Network (IVN). This televideo network enables classes to have students at other locations and on other campuses as well as carrying on real-time discussions from different locations. IVN has added a great deal of flexibility to broadening the availability of coursework to more students and has become a valuable way of linking faculty and students throughout the University System of Maryland.
