How to Schedule an IVN Session

2 monitor Polycom System - camera on top of left monitor and speakers below monitors

STEP 1: THE FOUR QUESTIONS

You should have answers to these questions:
Who?
-
which USM IVN sites are appropriate
What?
-
information about the talk (e.g., title, speaker, abstract)
Where?
-
which USM IVN sites will participate and which site will originate the session
When?
-
semester course or one-time session (e.g., faculty meeting, workshop)

STEP 2: CHECK THE CURRENT IVN SCHEDULE

Semester/Week Schedule - view the schedule for one or more sites for a given semester or specific week. Two tables display each site's schedule -- a week at a glance calandar and details for each IVN event. A composite week at a glance calandar may also be requested.

Daily Schedule - view the IVN schedule for one, several or all sites for a given day (results are displayed in a similar way used by semester/week schedule).

Site Schedule - for one, several or all sites, view tables of events for semester-long (class) and non-class IVN events.

STEP 3: SUBMIT A REQUEST

Follow the easy, step-by-step instructions to request an IVN event (e.g., semester course, workshp, meeting). You will be asked the four questions posed in Step 1. As soon as you submit a request, e-mail is sent to the appropriate IVN site coordinators and the USMH IVN scheduler for approval. You will be notified by the USM IVN scheduler of the outcome of your request.
